Rize allows you to create custom categories that help you gather better insights as to how your time is spent. It automatically notifies you when to take a break based on your activity without the need for Pomodoro timers. Rize also shows you what apps or websites interrupt you the most when you are working.
This app has a google calendar integration that allows you to create better categorization rules around your meetings. You can also tag blocks of time with project tags in order to segment how you spend your time. After a day’s work, you will receive a daily email report of your time breakdown and productivity metrics. Rize calculates a daily score for you based on in-depth, customizable metrics, allowing you to quantify and monitor your focus.
Rize also notifies you once you have worked for a specific number of hours in a day to prevent burnout. You can set a schedule as to when to start and stop tracking your work activity. Rize automatically categorizes your meetings based on specific keywords. Lastly, it shows you a report on the project that you have been working on.

- Open the dashboard. You can see the timeline on the top.
- The break timer makes sure you are taking enough breaks. You can customize the break timer. It shows the break-to-work ratio and the notification settings. Rize can detect that you are taking a break if you are idle.
- The activity section shows you a real-time feed of your tracked time.
- Workblocks section shows sessions of time when Rize detects that you are focused on a specific type of work. You can also see the details including the interruptions on your work, focus time, and context switching. Rize automatically categorizes your work, but you can edit it to specifics.
- You can assign session time to projects and it will automatically show below.
- Click the project to show analytics.
- The top right section shows you how much time you worked for the day and notifies you when you reached 100%. The tme breakdown also shows 3 main areas.
- The category breakdown shows all of the time split between categories. You can specifically click on one category to view it on the timeline.
