Is Komodo Edit still being developed?

No. Version 12.0.1 is the last one, and the release on GitHub is dated December 2022. ActiveState wound the product line down and now describes its focus as securing the open source software supply chain, which is a different business from shipping an editor. Nothing has been withdrawn: the source is still under the Mozilla Public License and the builds are still downloadable. Expect no fixes, though, and no support for anything that arrives in your language after 2022.

Where do you download it now that the ActiveState page is gone?

From the Releases tab of Komodo/KomodoEdit on GitHub. The 12.0.1 tag carries a macOS disk image, a Windows installer and two Linux tarballs. Every activestate.com Komodo URL, and komodoide.com with it, returns a 404 today, so a link you find in an older article or forum thread will not resolve. Only through Rosetta 2. The one macOS build ActiveState published is x86_64, and no arm64 version was ever released, so an M-series Mac translates it at launch. If you are picking an editor for a new Apple silicon machine in 2026, this is the point at which Komodo Edit stops making sense.
